Has Scott Yee Lost His Voice?

Has Scott Yee Lost His Voice? - 07/14/01 01:24 PM

It took a little arm twisting, but I’ve persuaded Scott to do some instrumentals. He has sequenced “Chattanooga Choo Choo/Night Train” and the romantic ballad “It Happened In Monterey” for all you KN5000 players. While Scott is known throughout the West for his vocal styling, I think he also plays a pretty mean 5K. Please look on the KN5000 page of www.Kool-Keys.com.

Hi Frank,
I have tried to download both Scott's songs (in zip format) but all I got are two very shorts files of about 30 Kb each, which didn't result in any MP3 files when unzipped.
Can you check that, please?
Thanks

Hi Dreamer.
The files are sequenserfiles for KN5000,
so then you have to dig up your Technics
from the basement, load the song, and push PLAY
Easy, eh ........
I think Scottyee have the very same files as mp3 at
his website, but with the voice singing too.

Technics KN5000/6000/6500 friends . . . Thanks for listening. My songs on Frank's "Kool-Keys" website are "instrumental renditions" (Technics KN5000 file format) of two of the MP3 songs on my site. These "Technics file format" songs can ONLY be played back properly on a KN5000 keyboard. They will play on a KN6000/6500 but the sound quality will be greatly impaired.

Well Dreamer,
I know you are joking, but I don’t think you can go wrong with a Technics. Even though it doesn’t have a big following among the pros, if you listen to the mp3’s, you’ll have to admit the instrument has a really fine sound.

Frank,
I listened to your new songs and have to congratulate, as usual; Love is a many splendored thing is always a classic, and Angel eyes was a pleasant surprise.
I wish there were more people like you who record and make public their songs: among the other things, it's an excellent way to judge the real sound of our keyboards.
