Any player using a Keyb with an FDD, check this out!

Fooling around on the Net, i stumbled on this: http://www.smartdisk.com/Products/Flash%20Memory%20Readers/Flashpath.asp

Supposedly can enable a floppy drive equipped PC to read/write Smartmedia cards of any size...
If it can be used in a FDD equipped keyboard, bingo! costs $14.99
Anyone tried one of these?

Do I have to install the driver software for FlashPath to work? What if I want to view my pictures on a friend's computer? Does that computer have to have the driver software installed as well?
Yes, the driver software must be installed. They allow your computer to recognize and communicate with FlashPath as if it were a floppy diskette.

This is interesting I wonder if this will work on a keyboard. I just wonder if you need the driver for the keyboard (which you wouldn't be able to load)

Been there, tried it.. Won't work..You need to install drivers. your PC can run the drivers, but NO WAY for our keyboards to install the needed software..

Please, someone, tell us this works! I tried to go to their tech support, but they want an arm and a leg before you can ask a question. This would be great for all floppy drives still out there.

Certainly it doesn´t work on keyboards. The keyboards OS (each one are different of the other) aren´t based in Windows. Flash Path drivers works only for PC Windows 95/98.....

These only work after you add custom drivers to a PC. No chance on a standalone keyboard.
