Hi Eddie & OldNewb: Many thanks for the kind thoughts. Happy New Year (in Chinese Cantonese: Sun Neen Fai Lok) to my entire Synthzone family and here's wishing a happy & prosperous new year (Gung Hay Fat Choy) to all.

Yep, I'm definitely alive and well after spending the last couple of days in Monterey celebrating with family and friends which included feasting on a sumptuous 8 course chinese banquet along with plenty of music & drink. Another excuse for a big family reunion of course.

Regretfully I won't be performing at the annual SF Chinese New Years Parade festival this year because of a scheduling conflict but I am entertaining at a couple of private event Chinese New Years parties this weekend and next. This is the year of the Rooster so can anyone here recommend any Rooster songs. So far, the closest party (audience participation) song I can think of including is the "Chicken Dance".

Oh - "The Rooster" was one of my staples back in the day. All about a horny rooster that has his way with everything in the barnyard ... including Dogs and trees !
Something about eggnog, pooched eggs, etc ... a very, very silly song.

Uncle Dave, yours definitely sounds like a good candidate for a "Year of the Rooster" party just as long as it's decent enough to be suitably heard by all age groups (5-80). Can you provide lyrics, chords, or better yet, a leadsheet, or MP3? Thanks. - Scott
