I currently have a Tyros and am using an American something case that just barely fits and is starting to rip. Does anybody have any recommendation for a good case? Is the case from Yamaha any good? I once had the gator case and the case was as heavy as the keyboard. I like the soft cases. The gator barely fit in my SUV. Any ideas?

I got a very nice case for my Tyros from New York Cases. It is a hard shell case and I paid 112.00 dollars for it on an Ebay auction.

I've got a Gator case for my VR760 and just love it. My PSR2K sits in a havy duty soft side from Sweetwater.com - also very good.

I prefer a lightweight heavily padded case which also INCLUDES built-in wheels for easy transport & manuveribility. For my Tyros, I use & recommend the Kases Porter model #KKP9KB, of which provides an idea fit. I purchased mine from Guitar Center for $99 when I first got my Tyros (12/02), and continue to use it to transport the kb daily. It weighs about 15-16 lbs.

I have to endorse Gator cases myself. They are tough, they are relatively light, and they are made for us keyboard players with pockets, padding, and very strong handles.
Get the Tyros bag. It's light, strongly made, the perfect size, fitted with wheels so you can pull it along easily, and it looks real cool!
