I bought PSR-640 and I like it :) - 10/30/00 02:42 PM

Previous week I have finally bought new keyboard (after almost one year of collecting money from various sources :-)) I bought PSR 640, and I really like it. The sounds, styles, ease of use and everything. After I found out that there is no Korg dealer in Slovenia anymore (I wanted to buy one of the i (iS) Korgs), I had to choose between Roland EM-50 and Yamaha PSR-640. I like the sounds on PSR better, except maybe the piano (and techno drums). And it has _much_ better user interface than Roland. No D-Beam, so I'm looking for another realtime controller (knobs). If anyone has some suggestions, I would be really grateful.

If the 640 has a foot pedal input, that can be used as a real-time controller and your hands do not need to leave the keyboard to use it. Go to the main synthzone section and look under midi controllers for more alternatives. You can get D-beam functionality for your 640 if you really want it and can pay for it.
