My homestudio-mixer is the Mackie Onyx 1220.
Onstage a Behringer 6ch.

Both are very 'fit for purpose' !

I have had a Mackie 1604 at home for years and it is an excellent board. I use a Behringer 10 channel for playing live. It is hard to beat the Behringer range for value for your dollar, plus I wanted something very compact for carting around to venues.

Tascam TM-D1000 Digital Mixer. I think they're discontinued now though.

I am using a very old Teac at home, but for the computer I am going to buy the new soundcraft Compact 4 . It's cheap and enough for what I use it for.

In my studio I use a Behringer UB1622FX-Pro mixer. I am very happy with it - good clean sound, built-in digital effects, and it was under $200.

I use the Behringer PMX2000 500 watt, 10 channel for all my performance and recording. Plenty of channels, 6 mono, 4 stereo, rca's in/out...

The effects are more than adequate and all in all, I'm very, very pleased with it. For me as a Solo, Duo or all the way up to my full band, this mixer does a great job.

Plus, for the price I paid...$300.00 (US), I'm not sure you can beat it...

My home studio has a Behringer Eurorack MX 2004 20 channel mixer... and I still run out of channels from time to time!

You're kidding right?!... That's s HUGE board!

Well, I see a lot of people is using behringer mixers. I'm actually using a behringer too, a MX 1604, but I'd like to have a better mixer with better Preamps. I which there were some affordable digital small mixers (like Roland VM 3100, but this one is discontinued) but I can't find any.

I found that the Yamaha MG12/4 and the Soundcraft E6 could be good choices, both affordable mixers, but I know nothing about the quality. Anyone is using any of these two?

I eliminated a mixer from my system two years ago when I purchased the Barbettas. I have a Peavey 12 channel mixer in the house, but it only gets used when folks come over to play.

I use the Allen & Heath with the band ( sweet mixer, miles above mackie )

But for the small 1 or 2 man jobs, I bought a 8 channel powered Carvin mixer, it's pretty cool

It allows you to run a stereo mix and monitor.

it has 3 300 watt amps built in.

I've had several Mackies in the past--a 1604,and a couple of 1202s. They are good mixers and were innovative when introduced, but I think they are a little overrated.
My Behringer 1222FX Pro, at about 1/3 the price, runs circles around the Mackies I've had. More features, lower prices. Reliability?? We'll see, but so far it seems to be rock-solid.
