Daddy JJ: Please Re-Send Email ! Spam blocker filtered/deleted by Mistake!

Daddy JJ: Just received a private email from you but it got automatically sent to my Spam email folder by mistake, and then got unintentially deleted, before I had a chance to even read it. Can you please re-send it? Thanks.

This brings up the topic of a 'growing' problem. 'Spam':

I'm continually being deluged with email spam (up to 20-30/day) and its remains a continous challenge for my spam blocker software & me to figure out how to filter out legitimate email from email I get from legitimate friends who I may never have previously received email from. My Spam blocker allows me to create white and black lists, but there seems no way to get it to figure out 'new' email friend addresses from actual spam. Curious to hear what Anti-Spam software others are finding success with. Thanks, - Scott

This doesn't answer you question, but I was just reading this today in Canadian news, and got a chuckle our of this quote:
"Robillard cites an American law aimed at curbing spam that came into force in January. She says it has been perceived to be somewhat effective."
You could have fooled me.

Hi Scott. I'm using the Mozilla web browser. The most recent versions have a junk mail feature that works great. It automatically "guesses" which mail is spam and puts it in separate folder. You can delete these messages later. -- José.
