I have ust been given a registration disk created for the PSR 9000, Can anyone tell me if it is possible to convert it to PSR3000 format.

A quick answer is NO... The problem with registrations on different model boards even from the same manufacturer is the placement of voices and styles are assigned into different places on the different models. Even a Tyros Registration can't be loaded into the PSR3000, although in this case there is a conversion program to make this possible.

Thank you Graham, that is a pity. What is the software for converting Tyros to PSR3000 styles/registrations called, and is it freely available?

Michael Bedemsen's Midi Player will do the conversions for you. It is free and you can get it here:

The reg translation program is called RegFix and it is available for free at:
