Em 2000 free new style problem - 10/30/00 02:10 PM

Hello and thanks for trying to help me. I've a problem at Roland Arranger Group in daytonamusic.com page. I try to load the style (in zip format) for Em 2000 (converted from X1, VA-7), but when I unzip them on my computer, the keyboard read it, but it seems, changing the style, that it always use the same sound (expecially piano). While the preset styles, or internal zip drive styles, are different each other also in the sound, the style from Daytona are similar in the sound (not in the kind of music). So it seems they use piano and so they aren't particulary because too omogeneus in the sound. I think it depend on my mistake in the way of loading or something else. I also tried to load the zip style of VA7 or X1 in STL format Who can help me? Thank you very much!

Is it possible you have turned the EM2000 to "Usr" rather than "Prf"? I think that setting will cause the keyboard to use the voice parts that you have set up on it, rather than the one built into the styles. Also, are you trying out only the piano & guitar styles? They do have a lot of piano in them. Does every single style you try have piano as the main accomp? It shouldn't.

You should join the RAG User group. Instructions are on the RAG Daytona web page. There are many skilled people who can elp you with your questions.
