solton x4 - 02/10/01 12:07 AM
I saw this item on ebay and was very interested but am wondering how you play it. It says that it is an arranger but there are no keys to press so how do you change chords and play the onboard sounds. I don't want to sound like an idiot but I own a keyboard and don't want to trade it in for an x1 but would love to have the best of both worlds with the x4 and my Kn5000. Unfortunately I don't understand how one would play this instrument.
any info would be appreciated.
Thanx

Hi,
The X4 just needs a MIDI-connection cable with the MIDI-OUT port of the KN..... c'est tout !

This X4 was purchased at Guitar Center in Towson Maryland . I accually sold it to the customer . I recommended he post the X4 HD on ebay . This Module is not more than 100 days old . I would recommended it. Guitar CEnter has a 30 day return for a full refund. Unfortunately this customer just needs the cash and he was beyond the 30 policy . So, I think it is a good buy ! If you have question's please email me directly.
I will honor full warranty on the module if you purchase this X4 ! Thank you Dan O

Dan01,
We need more people like you selling these things.. Where I'm at there are NO real dealers of anything, and the ones we have are WAY overpriced.. Good example: Local dealer sold a BLEMISHED PSR-740 for $1,200.00 In all my years I've never seen anyone make the offer you have Dan01.... Still offering to honor the warranty is extremely generous!

Dan01,
Does that X4 module have a floppy disk drive or does it just use cards. could you control it with an older yamaha 510 keyboard at least for a while till I could get me a better one?
Thank You.

The X4 has a floppy disk and a 2 gig hard drive . This module is physically big for a module. So stacked up against a PSR510 it may look a little awkward . However, It will work . Good Luck, Dan O
PS.....Thanks squeak D for your kind comments.
This X4 on Ebay is not mine, Dan. I have not put the one I bought from Guitar Center up for sale on Ebay. I might do it in the near future, but mine is still sitting in my home studio ... waiting for a good home.
