Anyone knows anyting about Korg I35? - 11/20/00 01:07 PM

Hi everyone! I'm from Europe and I'm new to this board.

I was going to buy a PSR640 but today I saw a webb ad. of Korg IS35 at USD 100 less than the Yamaha. Anyone knows anything about the Korg? How does it compare to the PSR? I actually don't know any store selling Korg where I can try any. Maybe I should start looking for one!? They also had a Technics KN1600 for same price as the IS35. Could that also be an alternative?

take care

There are people who will say the one is better than the other. But I would not buy the Korg unless you found a store to try it out. Most of the times it is personal. But please tell us what is important for you. Lots of functions? Quality? Is this your first keyboard? What do you expect to play? In that way we can help more, but nevertheless: PLAYING IT WITH YOUR HANDS is always a must. It could be that the Korg is 1000 times better, but maybe you just hate the buttons! Understand that sometimes the simple things make a keyboard more attractive than its power or capabilities.
But first tell us more, give some more background.
