Question for PSR 9000/Pro owners - 09/19/01 09:09 PM

Since the PSR 2000 has one feature that is the same as the PSR 9000 and PSR 9000 Pro, that one can utilize a style directly from a floppy disk without having to load it into internal memory, I would like to ask a question. How long does it take to retrieve a and begin playing a style directly from the floppy drive? Is it feasible to do this in a live situation? Thank you in advance!

hi,

I just timed loading a style on floppy into one of my Psr9000 units. It takes 2 to 3 seconds to see the style on screen which loads automaticly also or by pushing the disc direct button. The flash ROM stores more then enough styles for live performance, plus with a 6.4G HD you can store thousands of styles/smf's and access them from the HD on stage also in seconds. The 9k is an awesome unit, its features are far superior to the the 2k.
