Korg i30 flash rom problem - 11/12/03 04:18 PM

Dear friends, HELP!

My friend asked me to update him OS to newer version on I30 Korg. Everything was OK until the i30 asked for disk C, but disk C was corrupted. We turned the keybord off, than on and it was DEAD!

Does anybody have any idea, or bin file of i30 flash rom so I can program the flash again?

Thanks in advance!

you should never turn off the keyboard during
an update. i read on another forum that you
will have to take it to a authorized korg
repair center to have it repair. if you
exited the update procedure properly it should revert back to the previous operating system but since you turned the unit off(in a way) you wiped the original bios.
good luck

The latest Korg i30 OS can be downloaded free from www.korg.co.uk

Now I know I should never turn off the keyboard during an update. But it's late. We don't have an authorized service for Korg in Serbia, so I must find bin file to reprogram the flash.
To answear another quote:
OS cannot be installed after the mess I made.

Thank you all!
