New Solton keyboard - 11/04/00 01:46 AM

I'm reposting this information as a new topic so that all you Solton users and fans could notice it.

In the German "Tastenwelt magazine" there was info of a new Solton keyboard called SD1.
It was said to be released in November in Germany.
The following features were mentioned:
- 76 keys
- 64 note polyphony
- 256 new sounds
- totally new styles with dynamic drums
- 4 Intros, variations and Endings/style
- 5 Fill-ins
- Hard disk included
- 10 000 Registrations ! (?)
- Organ section with 9 virtual drawbars
- sampler with 16 MB memory
- enhanced Vocal- Harmoniser
- big display with graphics capability

Someone mentioned X100 as the name for a new Solton keyboard to be released in the US and also having 76 keys. It sounds like the same keyboard ?

No quarantee about the correctness of this info, but that's what I read.

Nice going, Kari. Now I see why Lou at Bell/Solton said we would not be disappointed if we accepted George Kaye's invitation to a product intro. I assume we will be hearing more from Europe over the next month.
