For those interested, I found this site with thousands of midifiles arranged by performers,alphabetically. It is sometimes easier to browse.
My pc brings up Quicktime when I doubleclick, so I right click title, and "save to target"into a file to bring it into my notation program.

Here's another useful site. It's mainly older tunes, but it also includes lyrics and chords (including the Nashville System, which is quite handy).
