styles for Roland VA series - 11/20/01 07:41 AM

Hi, can anyone tell me where I can find on the internet good 8-beat, 16-beat, dance and techno styles (free or not) for Roland VA-xx series keyboards? (besides the ones that are on keyboard or on zip already)

Thank you.

Hi New Yorker,
for the VA7 (and Roland keyboards in general) you can try the following addresses. The VA7 can read all the styles created for previous Roland arrangers because has all the internal sounds of the older keyboards. Of course the best results are obtained with the G 800 and G 1000 styles, which are more elaborated due to the greater polyphony.

Graham,
I was surprised to find out that the official site of Roland Europe has been under reconstruction for such a (relatively) long time. In the past I have found a lot of good styles on this site. Unless Roland is giving way to "national" sites (like roland.it, roland.uk, roland.de, etc) I guess (and hope) that it will be active again soon.

Andrea

Hi,
As I have writen in another reply, you may buy a USB styles CDROM with 7.000 or more styles converted from all arrangers to your Roland.
Go to www.usb-styles.com.fr

I don't know what quality these styles are. But I think they are good ones, because you pay US $120. It is money, ok, but you don't need to ask for, convert and download...7000 styles!!!
