LOOKING FOR A RolandE500 ORIENTAL - 11/13/00 04:36 PM

Hello to all. A friend of mine in my area badly wants to purchase the Roland E500 Oriental. I hear that they stopped making them. If anyone knows where I can get one Used or new(preferably used). Please let me know. Thank You

I have a music store in southern California and I sell new E14 and E40 oriental keyboards. Roland doens't sell the E500 in the united states. You can let me know if you are interested.

George,

A friend of mine have demonstrated Roland E500 oriental and it is ok but does not come close to WK6 oriental. Many though say that E14 is very good (I have not heard it), I heard also that there is E15.

WK6 is better than the E-500OR only in functions.the WK6 got a perfect sequencer and also got style converter and many other functions that I would say I wish my E-500OR have, but for the sounds I say Roland wins 100% in every thing!.the E-500OR is no more in the market but ther is the EM-50OR which I don't know if George Kaye sell it or not.but, it got all the sounds on the E-500OR and more (it's not gonna give the same feelings because of the polyphony..24 voice.)

P.S the E-14 is like the E-40 excatly and all the E-14 sounds and drums is on the E-500OR.and the E-15 is not oriental but I heard an intersting thing about that keyboard .and that is GEM did this keyboard for Roland!
