hi,

What kind of a hard-disk can you put in
the Tyros ,does someone know anything
about this ??

Gerbo, from what I have read just about any
Hard Drive for a Lap top computer will work
in the Tyros.

The Tyros will accept a standard 2.5 inch 40 GB IDE hard drive (max. height: 12.7 mm). As Denny also states, these are commonly used in laptops.

Scott, are you sure about the 40 gb. I could only put 8 gb max in the 9K

At 12.7mm, almost all of the 2.5" drives out there will fit! You don't have to worry there.

It's the 9mm drives that you will have to worry about.

I got my information from page 169 of the Tyros Owners Manual.
