It was sung by the Inkspots.
I do not want their version though.

Email your country mate Alfred Borg. He just sent me a copy of the Gypsy copied from the original record and also the lyrics.
You could email me if you don't have alfred's email address and I will forward your email to him.
If he doesn't reply to you for what ever reason. I did record it a few years ago and have it in both Midi and I think MP3 or WMA.
