How to input lyrics, psr2000 - 04/19/05 01:29 PM

I want to do a song to see if I can read it okay. How do I do this?

I would like to be able to read the words onscreen as I play the song from a style. Is that possible? Or do you have to have a recording? If so, how do I get the words into a midi file?

Bill,

First you have to record the song as a midi file. Then follow the instructions at Adding Lyrics . It's a slow procedure at best.

You can also do this with Cakewalk in your computer, but again, it's a slow process.

Bill,

I can send you some midi files with lyrics in it so see how it works on the LCD.

I found a midi that has lyrics in it and the music scrolls on the staff with the words. Is that the way it always is? I don't need the staff music.

Push button B when in the Main screen to get the lyrics alone without the score (see page 83 of your manual).
