Midi Controller question - 01/10/07 10:46 AM

I've been looking at the Roland A series on ebay and found a few deals but I was wondering between A33, A37 and A70, what were the main differences and which one did you have good experiences with ?
How much should they go for nowadays ?
Thanks

Claude, The A70 is the best one..It has the same keybed as the G800, G1000, VA76, and G70 arranger boards..They usually sell used for around $500..It is also 4 zones..

The other two sell under $250..They have a good feel to them, but not as good as the A70...They transmit on two zones..

I have both the A70 (with voice card) and the A33 and Fran is right on the money. The only advantage of the A33 is that it will run on batteries if that is of any use to you. Of course, whatever you had it plugged into would also have to run on batteries .

Fran/Chas,

Thanks a lot for your replies....I know it's not a new piece of equipment anymore but i was mainly looking for something with good key feel and that has 76 keys.... Looks like the A70 is a good candidate then
Thanks again.
