Thank you, Adimatis, Robert and Captain Russ. To tell you the truth, I'm a complete klutz when it comes to computers but I love to find information. I am glad that you find the information useful.

Captain Russ, the pleasure was all mine!

GREAT STUFF ... #1 and #2 really defined the band I was with for 26 years ... WE became best of friends, and still are today, 23 years after we broke up because I moved to Rhode Island...
I would say that only one of us (the sax player) was a truly accomplished musician ... the rest of us were adequate, but could 'put over' a song ... the whole was DEFINITELY great than the sum of its parts ... We LOVED what we were doing, had a great time doing it, and that was reflected in the reaction of the clients ... There were times when I would look out at the crowded dance floor and see how people were enjoying themselves and think "Wow, WE are causing that to happen!!!" ...
I miss that ...

Taike, good stuff, as usual. I'm not ranking them in order of importance, but, #8 is crucial and without it, you'll never be a "tight" group. There is one I'd like to add though (since we're talking about a BAND setting)and that is REHEARSAL. #3 Practice, sort of implies getting your own individual act together (and that's absolutely important)but to sound great as a group, you've got to rehearse (and on an on-going basis).

Thx, Chas. It very much reminds me of the documented rehearsals (sessions) of the Beatles (Let It Be)

(I'd like to say thank you on behalf of the group and we hope we passed the audition.) What a great line!

A lot of hard work and creativity go a long way.
