I use both the sx300 and the psx1000 powered mixer. I also use the sb121a powered sub. The sx300 non powered speakers sound excellent driven by the psx1000 powered mixer. I am very happy with this system. I use this mixer with a 5 piece band in which I use one chanel for the mains and one for the monitor and everything works great. I have tried out the mackie 808s before I got the psx1000. I liked the psx1000 much better for its patching capabilities and also the digital efects sounded better to me.

Hi...Thanks for your reply...I live in Canada,and I was looking for Dynacord powered mixer..EV and Dynacord are from the same company,so I am thinking of getting me psx1000..The only thing is the speakers..Which ones I should take with PSX1000...

EV sx300's or Mackie 300's - both great.
