mardi gra songs?

hi everyone,
i'm doing a mardi gra party this saturday,
i need some song ideas maybe 10 or 12
should do the job. thanks for any list you
can give me.

.....any thing that has a Cajun flair or mentions New Orleans ! Keep the tempo's(and the womens' blouses ....) UP ... and bring LOTS of beads !

Fats Domino stuff works well. Also Dixieland version of "Just A Closer Walk".
In fact Dixieland version of most anything will work.
If they crown Royalty, you may need to know the Mardi Gras March.
Mardi Gras calls for more up-tempo songs that normal. Good old 50's Rock'n Roll works for me.

i figured dixieland would work and i like
the beads idea. as far as keeping the blouses
up, the average age at this place is 78 so
with my weak heart it would be a fatal move
for me. but then again, if i were a 78 year
old man hmmmmmmmm.

....keep the blouses WAAAAAAAAAy down. Forget the beads altogether. Just play the tunes, and look away !
