What happened to Lyrics World?

Unless something drastic happened, the music cops seem to have caused my favorite lyrics website to once again move to a new location. The old url was http://ntl.matrix.com.br/pfilho/html/main_index/index.html . This particular site was the best on the web and I hope someone out there knows where it moved to or if it still exists.

just go to www.Google.com....type in

["song title lyrics"] and you'll find most songs easily.

It appears to be at www.lyricsworld.com

This one is different than Lyrics World.com, which also is a great search engine, but nearly as good as the one I was describing. It listed all of the top 40 songs from 1930 through 2001 by song title and also by performer. It was something along the same lines as the International Lyrics Server before the music cops destroyed the site.

If you're looking for something more than just lyrics - I just visited lyricsworld and din't think there was much there - try the link below.

Not all the lyrics are perfect, and they do come with music mostly.... However, the main thing is that there are gazillions of artists to choose from.. ABBA to ZZ Top in all genre's - including [FWIW] a whole bunch of the Shania Twain stuff - WAAY more than the 5 songs that Lyricsworld is hyping !!

Thanks for the sites guys and gals. I already had most of those on my favorites list, and their are two Lyrics Worlds out there. One is Lyrics World.com while the other is Lyrics World Main Page, which was until about six weeks ago, the best on the web. It contained more than 100,000 files, most were extremely accurate, some had guitar tabs, all had a complete history of the song. I believe that it was headquartered in Brazil, and like the International Lyrics Server, it was probably targeted by the music police/Harry Fox et.al. Hopefully, it will pop up again and if I find it, I will be posting it on this forum.
