Hi Tony
It downloaded without a hitch for me. I thought it was great. Good piano comping and sax interlude, along with a very nice vocal.

Thanks for sharing.

Tony:

Nice job with the vocal and a refreshing change from how that tune is normally sung. I liked it.

By the way what was your comment a couple of days ago?? I remember, Here it is, " ... just stay away from my territory !!! " My friend it's not me you have to worry about giving you competition. Great job

Wow, Tony, got to hear your voice at last!
I really like your piano playing and the Soprano Sax sounds beautiful and also very appropriate in the contest of this song.
My only critic is the style chosen, that sounds too "stiff" and easily gives away that we are listening to an arranger keyboard and not a live band. Of course, this is not your fault, but I think that you are ready for another, more "natural sounding" keyboard: your playing deserve that!

Tony, being I sense your moving on from Technics 6500/7000? do yourself a big favor & go play a few different Top Arranger KB's...no matter whre you have to go to do this..
spend a few hours each with them thru your PA.....not headphones.....in the end you'll make a wise happy choice that is ....

Tony,
I remember you praising a board played by DanO; maybe he was playing a Ketron SD1 so, since Ketron has some very natural sounding styles, instead of buying a new keyboard you could just buy a Midjay and hook it to your present keyboard.

Tony,
Excellent job, my friend! Now you won't have to listen to me any more.
I can second the motion about the Midjay.

Dnj ... nothing immediate, but since I hope to be a "full time musician" in about 1 year, I am keeping an open mind (whatever there is of it) ... and your advice is well taken ...

Dreamer ... I do believe DanO was playing an SD1 ... BTW ... My wife and I will be in Rome around May 24 - 25 ... more about that later ...

DonM ... Thank you very much ... I will NEVER tire of listening to you my friend...

Hi Tony, as I wrote you via private email, I too enjoyed your latest song contribution. You're a decent player with great singing potential as well. Keep going making good music. Any of the boards mentioned is a good choice (including sticking with your KN7000), cuz the bottom line that counts is delivering & expressing from your heart. Focus on your kb chops & polishing vocals. That's what the audience cares about most. - Scott
