ritardando

Any way to do this on the T2 (other than on the ending). It's a button-assignable feature on the PA1x and works full-time in style mode. Thanks.

You could set up different registrations and then swap between them (I think you can also assign a foot pedal to move up registrations)
This would be a bit long winded and without standing in front of my T2 I can't try or think of any other ways yet.

A ritardando is a GRADUAL decrease of tempo, not a jump from one registration to another. Don't tell me the vaunted Tyros2 doesn't have this rudimentary feature?

Ditto accelerando?

Diki I'm a qualified music teacher/sound engineer and semi pro musician so I know what it means.
Each registration could have a different tempo set to it so by pressing each of the 8 buttons at a certain time it would appear that the tempo is altering. It was only a quick idea anyway as I was at work when replying to it.
Also pressing the ending button twice (very quickly) does give a slower ending on 5 styles I've just tried

in Pa1X some styles are already programmed with ritardando inside (especially for endings) while as ritardando function it can be assigned to any programmable switch (button or pedal) and using different curves.

It seems to me the most complete implementation available.

I don't think that T2 has ritardando inside any style, anyway I can confirm that pressing twice the ending it will apply.

If you can free up a hand...use the tempo wheel , if your board has one...
Craig , the registration method seems to involved to use as a tempo rit...Does the Tyros 2 have a data wheel that defaults to tempo? If not ..Yamaha should consider it for the Tyros 3...

Doesn't seem to have any facility for doing it in the middle that I can see which would certainly be beneficial. Maybe a future update could implement it somewhere?
If I can find out if the tempo can be assigned to the data entry wheel that would be ideal rather than using the tempo +/- buttons which are awkward at the best of times. If I find out I'll post it

Craig, as you already know..the G1000 has rit. for fills also..besides the tempo..
Very few people use it....but it does give a human feel to the drums..
