Baby it's cold outside...

Just got finished moving another 11 inches of snow from 300 feet of driveway and a 160-foot sidewalk--I'm gettin' too old for this stuff!

Also just got a call from Donny Pesce and he's battling the worst Noreaster snow storm in more than a decade. They'll probably cancel his job for tonight, but mine is still on and I'll be sitting behind the concert grand tonight plinking on the 2000.

Gary..I should be so lucky.....Nope... my Dinner Dance Xmas GIG is on tonight and I have to Trek Through the Blizzard to get there...
My client called and won't cancel because then they would have to Pay the Caterer & Me In Full....so it'll be just another night in paradise. How many of the 350 tickets sold will actully show up due to the weather is another story?

It's cold in Louisiana too. May get to freezing tonight. And the high tomorrow only in the 60's. Wind is gusting to about three mph. BRRRRR.
I have an outdoor job at a car race track tomorrow. Maybe they'll cancel!

Mike....It finally stopped snowing here....
But.....the Xmas Songs go On & On & On..
Can't wait till January 2nd so I could sit back and relax!!

It's December the 8th and we have no snow yet in Michigan. I'm dreaming of a GREEN Christmas!

The windy (hurricane) season is over for this year. What we do have in Florida right now is a lot of Yankees (NE USA mostly), mild temperatures and a few Indian casinos.

There's some strange sh*t happening with the weather in general, Up here in Canuckle-Head land, it should be colder than a whore's heart, but it ain't. 'Course. I'm not complaining....uh oh..gotta go, my grass needs cutting again.

Our winter may be over here. It was 69 today. Bad news is there's a small chance of rain tomorrow. Oh well. . .

The gig went great, the tip jar was filled in less than two hours with ones and fives, the owner kept telling me that I did an incredible job, the waitress's said they loved the music, and the owner said he would call me later this week and let me know of his decission. Bottom line is I really don't know if I got the job or not, so keep your fingers crossed.

The irony of it all is while I was there a couple folks picked up some of my business cards from the bar's cardholder and I just booked two jobs for private parties from that night at the restaurant. It's a crazy business, but I'm enjoying every minute of it.
