The video for the EM2000 was discontinued here in the US along with the keyboard. I needed a copy really bad and still couldn't get Roland to make any more. Finally, I got one of the tech support guys to dig around their office and he found me a copy which I have made copies for my customers who needed one. If you are in the UK, maybe the Roland distributor there has one.

Chalky
The FC-7 can not be set. It controls the following: (1)Start/Stop
(2)Fill to Original
(3)Fill to Variation
(4)Intro
(5)Ending
(6)Advance
(7)Reset?(I Think?)
Hope this is what your looking for!

Thanks, I thought it would be the same as the Korg EC5 controller which can be programed, Chalky.

I'm in NO position to challange anyone here, but I would REALLY be surprised if that foot pedal is not programmable. Perhaps it is only a menu function when a pedal is actually HOOKED up to the EM2000. I never fooled with one, but Roland is pretty good with controller options - check it out further.

Uncle Dave,

I have had 2 of these Roland FC-7 pedals for a long time. This FC-7 pedal, unlike other MIDI pedals such as Yamaha MFC10 or Korg EC5, is not programmable. FC-7 is hard-wired pulse controller, not MIDI controller. In the case of Yamaha MFC10, you can program each button to your desire. Not the case with Roland FC-7, which has already been marked for its specialized functions (Start/Stop, Intro, Advanced, To Variation, To Original, Variation, Ending).

Other Roland MIDI-based foot controllers, such as the PK-5 bass pedal that I also have, are fully programmable.

I stand fully corrected, and (in my new found humility) beg the forgiveness of the masses ! I was not sure, but still I took a stab at it from a purely scientific point of view. I salute you all! Hail the JC MACHINE!!
