Cable TV or Media Apps? - 08/14/20 05:31 AM
So when your TV is on, are you watching cable, or some other form of media entertainment?
Currently I use both cable and a few other apps like Netflix, Prime and HBO max. I really need to cut something, especially when I seem to end up watching free You Tube a lot more than anything.
So, just curious, do you have a favorite "Go To" when watching TV?

Free or paid You Tube?
I was thinking of subscribing to YouTube, and dropping cable.

Free. I mostly watch music stuff-gear reviews and how-to. There are days I consider subscribing to get rid of the ads. I think its $10 for just that. I watch very little of the current TV shows.

It's easy to spend hours watching you tube as one video leads to another, and I hear ya, seems to be more and more ads.

So many choices , Netflix, HBO Now, Prime, Apple, Hulu, YouTube TV, etc. and of course good ol' cable, Choices can be a good thing, or can drive one crazy trying to decide.
For me, sports, including local sports (Philadelphia) is a huge factor. Hulu and YouTube have that covered, but can it beat the experienced, but overpriced, cable convenience?
Upon research, if I were to cut cable tv, add an app like Hulu or YouTube TV with packages that I prefer, along with the needed higher bandwidth WIFI, the cost saving is really not that much, so...

That's what I have too Earl. My son dropped cable, and now misses it, I think I would too, but it is expensive
