Now that is funny. Orianthi is a wonderful guitarist from Australia who was going to be the lead guitarist for the Michael Jackson tour until he passed away. She really is talented.

Here she is channeling Jimi by playing Voodoo Chile promoting PRS guitars.

Been following her for several years (haven't been arrested yet).
Also like Tie Wilkinson( SP?), the young lady who plays bass with Jeff Beck. Seems like Australia I producing more than it's share of outstanding female players.

Really enjoyed our visit the other night. Tell my new "girlfriend" I'll call earlier (before you get home) next time!

Hahaha I will pass on the message to Kerry, she will laugh. Yeah there are some great female musicians coming out of Australia. Fantastic players and so much better looking than us guys. Yep Tal is also a gem.

Jeff has always chosen talented women to perform with him. Here is "Live In The Dark" from his recent Loud Hailer tour that I saw locally in California.

On a lark, I bought a cheap import PRS...the Santana model. It's surprisingly good. I see why lots of working musicians are making the switch. It's about $750.00 with a bag.

I haven't played the PRS Santana SE model. But it sounds like I should next time I am in my local Guitar Center. I used to favor the local music store over Guitar Center to help encourage smaller businesses. But that stopped after I had bought a Roland KC keyboard amp that had a bad fluttering noise when there was a lot of bass frequencies. I took it back and they swapped it for another and it was the same. When I took it back they said they couldn't refund my money but just gave me store credit although they had nothing else I wanted. That sort of dampened my loyalty for them as I know Guitar Center always give a refund under 30 days.
