Nigel (and others)...ever hear of David T. Walker? - 03/19/12 03:17 PM

Just when you think you know what's happening, you find something that is enjoyable and, in the case of David T. Walker, life affirming!

Best known for his work with the fabulous Crusaders, David was a modest, spiritual man who can put major feeling into few notes.

Some of his solo work in Japan in 2010 is awe inspiring.

If you get a chance, look around on the net. He is particularly graceful and informative in some of the interviews he has given...particularly the one he followed with a version of "Walk on By" with a Japanese band.

Sadly, he passed recently.

But, what an inspiration. He is the embodiment of what it means to be a musician.

I'm so glad that, even though he wasn't recognized to the extent he deserved, he had a full, productive life surrounded by people who loved and admired him.

He made the world a better place.

With much gratitude and respect:

That is so very sad, I loved the Crusaders.
