Talked to Chas.. - 02/26/09 03:36 PM

Just got off the phone with Chas...a really nice and accomplished guy. We're getting together in Atlanta is a couple of weeks, and I fully expect it to be a visit I'll enjoy and remember.

What a treat!

My trip to Atlanta several weeks ago was canceled. Working on a re-schedule about the middle of next month.

Chas and I will enjoy dinner and a little jazz.

Really looking forward to it!

.... and the trip to Boston/Rhode Island ???

PS In May I will be going to Ocean City MD for a week of golf, and then Lydia and I will be making a road trip to FL ... one week in Disney with our son and his kids, one week in Siesta Key with some friends of ours ... then a leisurely drive home ...
I just hope your trip North isn't during that time - middle of May to the middle of June ...

Tony, two things are causing me concern and delaying things. One, I'm still taking care of the guy who lost a foot. He has no one else...no money, insurance or family. He doesn't speak English and needs to go to daily appointments to a clinic and the hospital.

2nd-both the Atlanta connection and the Boston connection involve a sales organization in Atlanta that doesn't pay it's bills.

The manufacturers in Italy and Spain are great, but they pay the agency and the agency doesn't pay me. They're 6 months behind on some really big dollars. I'm "on strike" until the bills are paid. I've been carrying these guys for a few years and that is going to stop now.

I'll probably have to arrange direct payment from the manufacturer, but the agent is taking credit for the work and doesn't want the clients knowing he/they are just selling the final product based on our work.

Believe it or not, this is a common problem with sales rep organizations.

I'll let you know when I work things out. In the meantime, Ranolfo needs daily attention, so I couldn't get away, regardless.

Russ, God bless your efforts with Ranolfo ...

As for the agent thing, it sounds like it's time to blow the whistle on those creeps and get the credit you deserve ... and the CASH ...
