Poker Run for Make a Wish Foundation... - 06/16/08 09:03 AM
What a Fathers Day! After my Private Club gig, my two boys, Logan and Ben, came over and took me to a Poker Run to benefit the Make a Wish Foundation. Then, we rode down to see their grandfather with gifts (late-stage Alzheimers patient).
What neat guys! They knew I supported the Organization and gave that trip, plus some other great, silly, useless stuff to me for Fathers Day! They each have devoted lots of time helping me take care of "Doc" their grandfather (wife's side of the family) when his own natural children are just too busy to help out. It's sad that he asked me to manage his personal and financial affairs because he just didn't trust his natural kids.
Man, am I fortunate!
