Is anyone having success with re-filling color ink cartridges?
If so, what brand and model printer do you used?

I did this for years with an HP 855cxi. The last couple of years I've owned an HP 940c and it's like a nightmare to work with. Then, when it does work it's erratic at best!
Maybe a re-fill retailer would recommend a printer that works best after a re-fill and on second thought maybe they won‘t!

Looks as if no one is going to answer you Boo. I tried refilling several different printers with mixed success. I have a Canon again now. Ink cartridges are quite inexpensive, and there is an individual cartridge for each color. It's not worth the trouble and mess to refill.

Boo, I have an HP printer and I use my left over Lexmark black refill kit to refill just the black. I haven't messed with the color. The black refill works just fine.

Well, now there's some more going on...

I can only agree at these points!!!
I'm using a S450 since about 3 years and it still prints very good, quite and fast. The original inks are very low priced. You can also use Pelikan's inks and they are lower priced than the origins.

Re-filling ink catridges is a very difficult thing which I would never do in a bureau or studio surrounding...
