I hope they won't come in fat letters on top of the local newspapers...

We're here - alive, well, happy and SOooooo busy redecorating my little hut that we hardly have time to get in our 3 or 4 daily sessions of "alone time" .... you know, like most 50 yr olds do!

I promie as soon as things settle down a bit, I'll post some pictures and tell you all some stories from the wedding trip. Here's the Reader's Digest version:

The wedding was like a progressive dinner. Since I work at so many local restaurants, I decided to spread the love around to the clients that keep me working all year. We had our engagement announcement at my Friday place a few weeks ago. Then on the wedding day, we had the ceremony at my Sunday spot, the dinner at my Thursday spot, and dessert and coffee at my Wednesday spot. It was really cool, VERY fun and we got to show off in front of all my regular clientele !

Then after my family gathering at Easter, where I got to introduce all the kin to the newcomers ..... we flew back to Florida to get Maureen's car and a few things.

THAT's a whole other story for another day! Short version - Had to have the transmission rebuilt in South Carolina!
Then when we got home ( 3 days late ) teh alternator went south ! If I wasn't with my honey .... that trip would have gotten on my nerves, but even now ..... all we can do is look back and laugh at it.

More later boys & girls ........ There's no kids in the house, and you know what THAT means !....... .............

Congrats to UD and M,
I remarried for the last time at age 45 and now have a record for 29 years last labor day after a few marriages that just didn't take.
I remember how great every day was for that first year of romance and first year of marriage, and.............. it has only got better every day since.
count yourselves lucky and our Best to you
