Being a NYer, and a Jets fan, in truth I had hoped that Buffalo would get in and the Jets wouldn't. After what the Jets did toward the end of the season, I figured they'd merely embarrass themselves in the playoffs.

Then.. lo and behold, they win in San Diego. I doubt their run will go any further though.. They are truly a flawed team.

A truly flawed team plays GREAT all season long and then wastes 2 downs in OT after advancing forward real nicely, and instead brings in a rookie to miss a 40 yard field goal. I'm all for giving the rookie a chance but c'mon... (that's *my* Chargers I'm talking about for those who missed the game) ... 2005 will be the year of the Bolts. Just wait.

I agree ScubaDon. The Chargers should have continued the drive into the end zone. It almost looked like Steve Mariuchi was the coach. It was a boneheaded coaching decision. Maybe it was because Schottenheimer used to be a coach for the Lions.
