MC505: SysEx problems

My MC505 wont receive any systemex. messages. I 've set the option: rx sysex = on, but the problem remains...
Can somebody help me: I made a bulk dump, but since I can't receive sysex, I can't load the dump...

I've had unuusual problems w/ my MC505. Try reinitializing the patches first then the whole thing if that doesn't work. I would back it up to smart media first though.... Refer to my previous post and someone else's who has a 305 I think. Any luck?
