Pa600 MARIMBA - 02/19/13 12:43 PM

Will I EVER run out of questions ??? ...
In the Rhumba 1 Style, the MARIMBA GM voice plays/strikes continuously while I hold down two notes, which is the effect I want, of course ... BUT, when I try to use the MARIMBA GM voice in another style when I play two notes together, it only sounds each time I strike the notes ... How/where do I find the sound edit that controls that? ... I would like to replace many of the sounds in other LATIN styles with the MARIMBA GM voice as heard in Rhumba 1 ...
thank you,

... got the answer on the KORG Pa600 forum ...
FYI - it is the 'ENSEMBLE' setting of 'Trill' that does this ... smile

Similar on my 500. Selecting marimba as a sound does not enable the ensemble function button. Selecting it as a performance does and the trill effect commences with the ensemble function enabled. Does the 600 have a dial for left hand/right hand balance? The 500 has a slider for this.

The Pa600 has a 'dial' for Right/Left balance ... it also has a 'dial' for Master Volume ...
