How about using Pa50SD OS in MicroArranger?

Everybody says that it's exactly the same stuff in Pa50SD and the MicroArranger. There is an updated OS to Pa50SD but not to the Arranger. All programs, styles and stuff can be used so why not the OS...? Anybody who knows anything about this?

Well they are different hardware so I would expect the OS of one to be incompatible with the other as the OS talks directly to the hardware. Being style compatible is an entirely different thing.

I agree with Nigel. 99% sure they would be different.

The latest OS 1.01 can be downloaded from http://www.korg.com/SupportResults.aspx?productid=179 under "Downloads"

It also has a note on it
"Note: Do not try to load this Operative System in instruments other than Pa50SD"

which pretty much answers Jacob's question. Trying to load an incompatible OS could very likely turn the Microarranger into a useless brick.

I agree with Nigel's advice- it would be a risky thing to try. But what functions are in the Pa50 that are missing from the Micro-Arranger? Until now I thought they had all of the same features.

What is there to be gained from the Pa50 OS?
