SongBook Editor 1.2, Video tutorials, and more

Dear Korg Pa1X/Pa800 Owners,

A series of new files have been uploaded to our web site:

- SongBook Editor version 1.2. This application lets you create and edit SongBook files on a PC, with some additional features not available in the integrated editor. Requires Pa1X OS 3.0 or higher, and Pa800 OS 1.0 or higher (1.02 recommended).

- Video tutorials for the Pa800 (but they work for Pa1X, too). Available both in Windows Media Video (wmv) and RealVideo (rm) formats.

- New sequencer templates for the Pa800.

- Reviewed Cubase templates for the Pa1X.

- A new Performance Pack for the PaX-EXB01 (Grand Piano) expansion board for the Pa1X.

I wish Yamaha would continue to add value to the products that people have already bought, like you do, instead to only those willing to spend more money.

robert, its a simple philosophy...yamaha purely profit driven...korg customer AND profit driven..one is happy to keep customers for many many years, the other only wants to keep a customer as long as said customer is spending money all the time

I have commented before about all keyboard manufactures providing a HOW TO TUTORIALS with new models.

One of the main problems with keyboard buyers changing or adding a second brand is not excepting having to learn a new OS system. Tutorials such as this are an excellent way to overcome this.

Well done KORG for providing the Video Tutorial on the PA800. All manufactures should be providing this sort of product tutorial. Possibly also on DVD for none PC uses. PA800 Video downloadable from www.korgpa.com
