Roland R8 Error

Hi, I can´t play the sounds from rom-cards in my Roland R8, but I do hear them in the demo song (just one appeared once on one trigger pad). Did a init already - no result, can´t get help from the manual *#@!/?§...[ ]...PLEASE HELP.
