Cakewalk Amp simulation plug-in

Have anybody tried it?
I am thinking in buying it. But I need to know if I can hear the overdrive while recording a guitar track into Cakewalk 8.

i'm not sure on this but i think you apply the overdrive effect after the track is recorded. i'd go to cakewalks website and check to be positive if i were you.

Hi, I have the Cakewalk ver 8.04. Did you finally you try the overdrive simulator plug-in? I think all of these plug-in things are after you have a audio track not before. I hear that version 8 of Cakewalk has problems with audio. Did you run acroos any?
