thanks for the info but i have already tried that web site.
i just get a window telling me i have to install japanese text version but i havent got any where to send it to as it tells me when i try to download it.Help----------

Excuse me for your wait...
I have the PDF manual from Yamaha site, about 1,3 Mb. If you want, I can email it to you.

BTW, I've see your other post, and the link works for me (I'm using Netscape Navigator 4.04, pretty old...). Are you using MS Internet Explorer? Normally, IE tries to install support for languages on demand (when you access a site with non-western characters), I think the message you're receiving is to download japanese support from MS website, but this is very strange, the Yamaha page is plain English, western characters....
