PSR 9000 Gig Bag ?

Since buying my PSR-9000 I have tried to get
a gig bag. Yamaha has been telling me since
2000 that one is "being designed", but they
never come up with it. You have no idea how many times I have been given that same old "pat response".
Getting a "Keybag" from UK seemed like the answer, until I found out the shipping cost is 3 times the cost of the bag. Tried Levy's in Canada but they don't make one for the PSR-9000. (NOTE: I don't want or need a Hard Case).

Does anyone know of a gig bag that will FIT ?
If yes, please provide details.

With help from J. Hale Music, I found out that Levy (Canada) does make a gig bag for the PSR-9000 after all, (Levy part number EM-554DX), which has the correct measurements so I went ahead and ordered it.

I have the (Levy part number EM-554DX), gig case for the 9k. Heavy duty and works great, lightweight too.

I just got mine last Sat. It has center,
rear, and front carrying straps, AND,
a Shoulder strap so any Superman or Supergirl can carry it on their shoulder. (not me).
not to mention the proper size Pockets for the Vol. Pedal, and Music Stand. The strap handles are padded for better grabbing leverage. I paid $129.00 incl. delivery.
What I like about the 3 carrying straps is that either one, two, or even three people can carry it. Problema resolved !
Maybe Yamaha Sales will take notice ?

I sure hope the hardware is steel and not plastic where the straps attack to the case. We had an unfortunate situation with a member on our Technics Forum here that just got a new KN65 and a bag and first thing that happened is that one of the pastic hardware strap fasteners came apart and the keyboard was dropped sustaining damage beyond repair. She finally got a new keyboard from Technics after weeks of pressure from all of us and the dealer. If it has plastic hardware I personally would not use it. She did get another bag with steel hardware.

I don't see any plastic, the straps are sewn, and the shoulder strap has two steel/metal spring-locks which attach to two metal hooks. (the kind Climbers use to climb mountains). However, thanks for the advice, I do not plan to use the shoulder strap anyway, because
I don't want to break my shoulder.
The PSR-9000 weighs too much to be carried on anyone's shoulder, unless the carrier happens to be Superman.
After checking it for carrying, I find that
the most secure way to handle it, is to have
two people carry it, one on either side of
the bag, one in front, one in back.

I do like the fact that those handles are
padded, conforming to the hand and giving
extra holding power. (leverage).
