Does the Motif 8 actually exist ? Is anyone else having trouble finding one ? I've been trying to buy one for a month.
Half the music shops in England, have all said the same thing.
i.e. There are none in the country and Yamaha are behind with their imports.
I finally ordered one via the website of a dealer in Brighton (double page spread in Future Music) and was told it would be with me in ten days.
After 20 days with no word I phoned them and was told Yamaha still have not imported any and it's now going to be November.
(They've still debited my credit card though.)
I phoned Yamaha to get their version of events. After being passed around I was told someone would call me back.
Nobody did. Lousy customer service !
Does anyone know where I can get this elusive machine ?
I don't mind second hand.
I'm on the verge of buying a Roland 5080 instead.
