Setting Up A PSR 270 (need .idf file?)

I have a Compaq computer and I received a Yamaha PSR 270 for Christmas. I am trying to set it up. When I go to add a new instrument it asks for a .idf file. Where do I get this file? I e-mailed Yamaha and received a generic response about calling Sales.
