Midi files stop sound

Hi all.
New experience for me - played a midi file on my KN7000 the other day, and when it had finished I could not subsequently get any sound from the keys. Switched off and then switched on again and everything was ok... Weird...

Hi Roger I hope you're well. Things are c4azy-busy here as usual lol.

Many midi files fade out by controlling the master volume or set the master volume to zero at the end of the track for another reason. They should re-set the master volume subsequently but often they don't. This could be it try step editing the last bar of your control track and add a command to reset the master volume.

I think I've found the answer - I hadn't plugged my expression pedal in properly...doh...

Hi Ray - the interesting bit about this is the fact that a half plugged in expression pedal allows the midi to play through but then prevents any further sound...beyond my grasp sadly; only glad I spotted it...
