My Kn7000 is Not Working Question

A computer repair man, a friend of min,e could not repair my Kn7000. The keys are not sending a message to the main part of the keyboard. Everything else works well. Some friends here on SZ have given me the name of keyboard repair men, I’ll do that next.

Another suggestion I received was to midi the keyboard with a controller to isolate the problem. I tried it, I can play the kn7000 sounds.
My question before buying: Which would be the best to use, a midi controller or an arranger keyboard?

Midiing to and from a KN7000 is a nightmare. Don't even go there. Get your KN7000 repaired.

And to think, John, if you would only have not sold your other KN7000s you have had over the years and now knowing that it is the best keyboard on the market, this nightmare would not be happening. It is called I guess, live and learn.
