Wikifonia no longer available. - 01/14/14 10:35 AM

Unfortunate the wikifonia site is no longen available. The site redirect to the site musescore.com for free music sheets. It looks like their library is not as big as of wikifonia. Also I have not found the tool transpose.
Are there other sites available for free music sheets?

The archive of the Wikifonia music sheets (35MB) can be downloaded from Synth Zone.

See http://www.synthzone.com/forum/ubbthread..._6_6#Post384909

http://www.synthzone.com/files/Wikifonia/Wikifonia.zip is the archive of Wikifonia MusicXML files you can download to your computer and search for the songs you are looking for. ( it will takes a quite a few minutes to download because it is 35MB in size ).

Websites to get free software to read MusicXML files.

Thans a lot Nigel. I downloaded the sheets and also the musescore software to transfer to PDF format. This works fine but some of the files I want to transpose. This feature was available at Wikifonia. Does anyone know how to achieve this?

I think you will need to find MusicXML software that has a transpose feature.

You can use musescore to transpose your songs.

Right click on the song and save into a different folder. You can then transpose and save the song in the transposed key.

You can also change the file name.
